Histoire d'une grande reine Amazighe

La Reine Dihya, dite Kahina ( ?- 704)

La Kahina, de son vrai nom Dihya ou Dahya, symbolise l'âme de la résistance amazighe face aux musulmans. Reine des Aurès, et probablement de religion chrétienne, elle montre un courage remarquable contre l'invasion musulmane, d'autant qu'elle est déjà âgée lors de la lutte.

Elle parvient à rassembler les tribus imazighen.

Lorsque qu'Hassan Ibn en Nu'man attaque le pays en 697 son armée est écrasée, et les musulmans chassés. Après s'être débarrassé des Byzantins, qui occupent encore une partie de la région, Hassan Ibn en Nu'man livre une guerre systématique aux Imazighen, dévastant le Nord du pays.
En 701, ayant obtenu des renforts du Calife Ibn Marwan, Hassan Ibn en Nu'man reprend tous les territoires perdus. Il finit par vaincre l...

Dihya, surnommée la Kahina, est une Femme, chawie, féministe, libre, guerrière, stratège politique et de surcroît Reine. Reine des Aurès. Reine des Berbères. Reine des femmes et des hommes qui se battent pour leur dignité. Dihya est morte dignement, et ses assassins étaient lâches. Elle les a humilié en leur infligeant des défaites militaires ; elle les a humiliés en rendant son âme comme berbère fidèle à elle même. Gisèle ne nous apprend rien.
